Batteries

A battery is a source of stored electrical energy supplying power to various gadgets at a definite voltage. Batteries are usually low voltage devices as they are mostly used for consumer devices. Depending on the type of construction of the battery, the voltage generally varies from 1.5 to 12Volts. When more voltage is needed, the number of batteries can be connected in series.
