Tubing
Tubing is a form of protection used for protecting damage to electrical cables. They are made of materials that have to remain flexible because the cable inside it is not rigid or stiff. Tubing is usually in the form of a spiral wrap. It has to have strong grip so that the cable inside it remains in place and at the same time be flexible.Tubing is generally made of nylon, which has self-extinguishing features in case of fire. Tubings have to be suitable for operating in a wide range of temperatures. Apart from being flexible, tubing has to be lightweight as well as with high abrasive resistance. Good tubing must have long durability.
